Silicon Valley is a place in San Francisco, America. This place is famous because many popular tech companies like Google, Facebook, Hp, Oracle, etc. have got started from Silicon valley. America is a well-developed country and places like new york, Washington D.C, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Nevada, etc. So have you had ever wondered why these tech companies choose this place named silicon valley to start their company? Why did they didn't choose any other place?
There are several reasons why Silicon Valley is known as Tech Hub. Here are some of them:
1. Cost of land is less expensive:
Silicon valley initially was a place where there were farms, trees, and where fruits and vegetables used to grow. After the second world war, people and soldiers came to settle here and live here. This is the major reason why Silicon Valley is known as a tech hub as Stanford University use to provide loans to help to build startups. This is the world's first supercomputer and the best part is the os which it was running was also made in Silicon Valley.

The education system is well developed by the government. That's the reason why all the like-minded people and entrepreneur start their startups here in silicon valley.
5. Computer chipsets:
Since Intel was also founded in silicon valley you will get to see many computer chipsets and processors are made here in silicon valley. Silicon is one of the major components of any chipset which is installed on your computer. There are factories with huge square ft. which makes these chipsets.
