So today it's time to talk about Technology in Japan as we all know Japan is known for its high-tech technology. We can see robots are doing most of the people's jobs. Japanese people are deploying robots in areas like factories, airports, and even in big bungalows. So let's have a deep dive into this amazing country.
Social Media Usage and Internet and Mobile Penetration.
In Japan, the most used social media website/app is LINE (a Messaging service like Whatsapp) which is 44%. It includes some advanced features like LINE games where you can play games by paying money, LINE Ads is also popular as many Japanese celebrities make ads for any product. Twitter and Facebook are also used here with less than 26% and 17% respectively. Twitter is the second social media platform that is used extensively. The reason behind this is that the policies of twitter are different in Japan as compared to other countries. Here you can create an anonymous account and tweet whatever you wish without giving your identity to anyone.
Moba Twitter an app that comes pre-installed on feature phones. It is a client version of what we use on Twitter. So this concept is more popular and apart from youngsters use Twitter and this application (Moba Twitter) about 60-70%. Talking about Internet penetration is 86% which is way more than Japan's population. Mobile penetration is about 122% and this even is more than Japan's population. This leads to the fact that people in Japan are using more than 1 mobile phone and lastly we all know Japan ranks in 4th place when it comes to internet usage.

When you look at Japan's Toilet it will have more buttons than your mobile phones and computers. The buttons were placed for the fact that it will cover people's sound coming from toilets with an artificial sound and also to save water there is an automatic machine is placed and also to keep Toilet seat hot there is such system installed on High-Tech Toilet to make it warm.
2. Parking Facility:
We all know that Japan is a small country and a parking problem arises here. So to overcome this problem what they have created is that they made a parking structure which looks as if cars are parked in a giant wheel. When the wheel moves from up to down and reaches nearby then the user can take the car and go for their work also they use the same thing for the bicycles as well.
3. Vending Machine:
Normally we see in shops that shopkeepers are there to give the product if we purchase it but the concept of shopkeeping in Japan is replaced by Vending Machine. They are used a lot in Japan you can find them in every street in Japan. You know that even Mobile phones are purchased from a vending machine. Just you have to select a mobile phone then make payment with cash/card and boom your mobile phone is with you.
Robotics and Deep Learning Technology in Japan
One of the most popular countries in making Robots in Japan. The robot army is made by a company name Oh Marona. They are programmed in such a manner so that work can be done smartly. Some work like picking something from one place and moving it to another. These robots can lift 130 kgs of weight and the same can transport it at 1.8 meters per second. Talking about deep learning here robots are taught to do repetitive tasks so that they can do them on their own as well as some algorithms and patterns of any task. Robotics is also used in the field of biotechnology to cure diseases and the main fact is that every piece of medical equipment today our doctors are using comes from this country.
Technological upgrades in supermarkets
It is highly said that Japan shows us the future of the supermarket. Here you can see an online update for any product's stock with the help of price tags something called sockets. This thing collects data and puts it in a central system in their database and it gets updated automatically. Whenever you purchase something online it will automatically and accurately tell the consumer that this much stock is remaining. Also, these sockets help price tags to come down automatically in case if the product is not sold in a particular period so that consumer purchases it before it gets expired eventually protecting the market against loss.
Another biggest technology in Japan is the use of link ray what it does is that if you scan any product price tag you will see how it is manufactured, what is its specialty, how it's made, etc. in form of a video so that consumers can understand it easily.
Cartoon Animation and Anime Technology in Japan
Japan and the USA are the only 2 countries which are known for their cartoon animations. They are the first to make cartoons in the world E.G. Shinchan, Doremon, Mario, etc. This industry today is also leading by Japan.
